As we begin celebrating the Christmas season — the word Gratitude resonates in our hearts, especially as we think about relationships. As we reflect on the many wonderful things the Lord allowed CMU to do this past year, we are certainly full of gratitude and blessed tremendously by our relationships. Relationships are at the core of CMU’s ministry, and they are the reason we still exist after being founded almost 50 years ago. The reason CMU — while being small — has been able to do so much is because of the rich relationships we have among our CMU family at home and with our partners and leaders in Brasil. For this, we are deeply grateful.

This summer, we gifted five different church buildings to existing congregations. Every one of them was initially planted ten years ago or more. Never in my lifetime have I been a part of serving that many churches in one year who had waited and prayed and hoped for so long to have their own place of worship. It was just a beautiful season in Brasil this year.

2024 Year-End Highlights

Due to the support of CMU's generous donors in 2024, we have continued our work in Brazil by building and gifting church buildings to established congregations, fostering relationships, and serving those we are called to serve!

  • 5 Church Builds Gifted - to congregations in the areas of Rio Branco, Icozinho, Angical and Teresina
  • 100 Volunteers - that served this year through trips to Brazil and locally at The Farm
  • 100 Families Fed - every month through our monthly feeding program
  • Disaster Relief - for flood victims in areas of Brazil
  • Numerous Retreats - at The Farm to provide spiritual renewal and fellowship

Thank you for partnering with us as we build into the church by ministering to and giving opportunities for the local church in America and in Brazil.

Make A Year-End Gift

Your partnership allowed us to do so much more than build buildings. Along the way, God in His goodness allowed us to build fruit that remains such as hope, love, encouragement, discipleship, evangelism, and relationships!

These are just some of the many things we build when we serve in His name.

A Special Fellowship

The Farm, or Chuck's house as it is referred to, has become the ministry center of CMU. It is a place of restoration for some and a place to serve for others. Sometimes it is where church staff plan and strategize, and sometimes it is a place of gathering for retreats, spiritual renewal, and fellowship.
